Exit Ticket

A short formative check students complete in the last few minutes of class.

An exit ticket is a 1–3 minute task students complete before leaving — a quick problem, sentence response, or rating — that tells the teacher whether today's objective stuck. It exists to change what you plan next, not to grade. If it doesn't change instruction, it's busywork.
