Install in 60 seconds

  1. Unzip the file first. Chrome cannot load a .zip directly — you need the unzipped folder (it should contain manifest.json).
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome (or any Chromium browser: Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera).
  3. Toggle on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped classly-extension folder (the folder itself, not the manifest file inside it).
  5. Classly AI now appears in your extensions list. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and hit the pin next to Classly AI so it stays visible.
  6. Highlight text on any webpage, right-click, and choose Make this a Classly AI lesson.
  7. Not seeing it? Make sure you unzipped first, and that Developer mode is ON. If Chrome shows an error, the folder you selected must contain manifest.json directly (not nested inside another folder).

When Classly AI is on the Chrome Web Store, you'll be able to install it in one click.
