The rule: lead with what they have to do
Burying the action in paragraph three is why posts go unread. Verb in the first six words. Due date in the first line.
Template 1 — Reading assignment
📖 Read pages 14–28 by Friday. Bring 2 questions and 1 quote that surprised you. We'll start with a 5-minute partner share.
Template 2 — Project milestone
🛠️ Project check-in due Wed 11:59pm: upload your outline (1 page max). Use the template in the materials tab. Office hours Tue lunch.
Template 3 — Test prep
✅ Quiz Friday — covers chapters 4–5. Review the study guide tonight, write down 3 questions, bring them to class Thursday for review jeopardy.
